My Intro
« on: 30 Aug 2017, 04:13 am »
Hi I'm Eric and I confess to being a music lover.  Worse, I want to be able to listen at home (who would suspect ).  My love is classical music, primarily symphonic and I subscribe to 4 classical series each year.  My speaker of choice has been Magneplanar for many years.  Electronics varies from time to time.

My habit is not as great as many, nor are my means.  But I demand equipment that sounds musical in relation to good concert halls :D.  And I get great joy from listening.  Further, I must make it easy for my wife to use.

Eric

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.

Hi.  I listen to a wide variety of music, including some Classical.  I like Baroque, several Russian composers, if full symphony I need it to keep moving or have enough changes to keep my attention.  So I'm more of a Concerto person.  I also have a couple Reference label recordings I enjoy for the great sound, of course, the music is good as well.

The thing about Classical it's not as easy to hear unless you know someone who has a collection.  Our Classical station is back on the air I should make a point to check it out more often.
