Are they SIRIUS?

Did some one give something away and not tell anyone?

Looking through my DishNetwork Sat Programs the other day and looks like I have about 20 or so SIRIUS sat music channels.

Did I miss the "fanfare" or is this not the real thing? I mean if DISH is giving these away (I didn't order them or pay more for them) wouldn't ya think they would TELL EVERYONE????

Just browsed their site and while "listed" if you dig deep enough, there is very little info on them.

They have been broadcasting for a few months already. If memory serves me, I think that they printed an advertisement for it on the back of one of our billing statements. Otherwise it was a very quiet upgrade.

Hi Todd,

I never open the bills, since they are the same each month, I just have my computer cut a check, so I missed the announcement.

You'd think with all the press SIRIUS has been getting lately that DISH would benefit, from having it on their home service.

I mean it didn't cost a cent and we didn't have to pick up any hardware??

Maybe that is why they kept it silent. Might have thought that letting everyone know would cut down on Christmas Hardware sales??

Wish I had time to listen to it, to see if it is any good.

I work at Radio Shack partime. The Sirius channels are part of the second tier Dish progaming package we sell ($40.00/month) and have been for about a year now. We always highlight this when we talk about Dish with customers as it is a strong competitive point over DirecTV.

Ya, Sirius has been for a while. I noticed it when browsing through some of the locals since Sirius is right below them. Even though we have it I still bring in my XM Roady2 from the car - I like the programming of XM better.

I liked it so much that I installed it in my truck! Probably without the preview on Dish, I might have gone to XM.
