"The all new Statement is more than just another new power cord.
It’s an ultra high resolution component, designed exclusively for Audio Art Cable with one purpose in mind: maximizing the performance potential of the finest audio components and video displays available today.
The all new Statement power cable consists of three 10 awg conductors, 1,386 individual strands of exceptionally pure, silver-coated OFC copper. These ultra high performance conductors are arrayed in a super low inductance, double-shielded construction, providing total immunity to noise, both low and high frequency alike.
Encasing the conductors is a co-polymer dialectic that reduces incoming differential-mode noise. This type of noise enters a power cord through the power line, and can originate from the electric company’s power station, or even from your neighbor’s air-conditioner, microwave, or refrigerator. Over the dialectic are two shields that reduce external noise. Noise of this variety includes airborne interference radio frequency (RFI) which gets radiated into power cords from, for example, other cables that sit close by. The first shield consists of a dense braid of tin and copper. The second shield consists of a layer of conductive foil and a drain wire. Over the outer shield rests a binder wrap that's followed by the Statement’s PVC outer, and a distinctive Carbon TechFlex jacket.
