Lo-Fi to Hi-Fi the journey begins here.

I've grown tired of my terrible audio equipment (aside from the few nice hand-me-downs I have). I've just bought my first pair of quality headphones, and am looking to build an introductory-type system.

Please note my test w/a CD player and a HE400.
A good amp will add just a refined sound, not SPL.
