I don't like to talk about myself, but since it is required......

I'm a former audio equipment/radio/tv repair tech, inveterate tube amp designer/builder, restorer of old radios/communications equipment, and just about anything else using tubes.

My listening preference is in the near-field at fairly low levels (rarely above 72-73 db) as I find it provides the total immersion which I enjoy.

Little time to participate this time of year, but I'm looking forward to contributing during the winter as this seems to be a pleasant forum (unlike so many other audio forums).

Welcome to AC!  Your skills will be sought out.  When you are comfortable with helping out let us know, some will be able to troubleshoot via the forums and some will need direct assistance.  I'll take a stab you are on the Atlantic seaboard.
