Hi everyone. My name is Burt and I live in Fresno Ca. I have done some car audio systems over the last 10 years. Now very interested in getting a top notch Home Audio System going.
I am using an LG smart TV for (source)
I first Bought some TEKTON (Seas Pendragons) main Speakers
My second purchase was a SHIIT (Gungnir (DAC) )
then bought an ODYSSEY AUDIO combo (Candella (pre) / Stratos Extreme (amp))
The combo was too hot for my 95 db TEKTON's ( got too loud too fast / no low level listening)
So i bought a New OPPO 205 ( for DAC/CDP/ & volume adjustment) , So in the closet went the SHIIT DAC.
Next up was the SUB - TEKTON (cenima 18" sub)
From there I'm Upgrading the Cables , CULLEN CABLE ( full loom ) PC , Speaker , IC , Prefect Plug ,( all Copper/Silver 12 awg.)
I went to the LAAS a couple of weeks ago and seen a lot of nice systems !!
I love my system very sweet sound not too organic, the stage is there , and pretty full spectrum of sound.
I know a lot of you guys have much ,much more experience with higher end audio , and I'm hoping to get some of your thoughts, and suggestions as to the next step on the way up the audio stairway....( equipment , room set up , placement , ect. )
