I am about to pull the trigger on one of these - a little aged, certainly rare - anyone heard one by chance?

Tube pre, line stage, uses 2x12au7's, enclosed tubes, 2 outputs, many inputs (6).

It hit all my hot buttons barring the remote, but I have an evil plan cooking up on that front anyway...

Just looking to see if anyone ever heard of this pre, or actually heard one.

I saw that too, but they seem to be discussing a different version, one with 4 tubes - the one I am interested in has just 2.

I am sure that it is not an overwhelmingly great pre, but the price fits perfectly, and the feature set seems appropriate for me.

I hope that someone has heard of this - I think it was reviewed in Stereophile years ago, to mild approval at best.

No matter, it should give me insight into the world of Tripath amps, with tube preamps - most people seem to love this combo...
