Wonder Woman

I saw this in 3d with my daughter. While it was well done, I was expecting a bit more . To me there was a lot of melodrama and love story which slowed the movie down for me. I felt there could have been a couple added action scenes.
The movie has of course had over the top reviews from all  reviewers and  audiences.
It's got a 92% on RT.
I'd give it a  80%.
I will see it again on Blu-ray with my wife in a couple of months. Maybe the second viewing will blow me away.
Love to hear your take on WW.

My son and I loved the movie.  I felt it was refreshing not to have constant non stop action.  WW's character had a little depth to her.

I reluctantly saw it a few weeks ago when it first came out, IMO the plot was absolute rubbish.

Best hand-to-hand (and horseback) fight scenes of all the DC and Marvel flicks. Yowza!

As before, it's movies you don't like that I love! In fact WW has put D.C. Comics back on the map after their very substandard showing of Batman vs. Superman.

Best,
Anand.

My wife and I liked it  very well. Plot is based off of Greek mythology and their gods. Look up Athena, Zeus, Ares, before you see it.

Absolutely fantastic movie! Watched it with my wife over the weekend and thought that leaving aside batman: dark knight, this was the best made in a while. Great story, great message  :thumb:

I loved wonder woman as a kid, Lynda Carter was my hero.

The blend of Greek mythology with a distorted historical view of World War 1 was just plain stupid and ridiculous. Maybe as a 10 year old I could have suspended belief and swallowed that dreck, but I out grew comics many decades ago.  :|

Best DC film since the first two Christian Bale Batman movies IMO.  Superb! :thumb:  Gadot deserves to be the big star she will soon be.

+1

I went with my almost 16 year old son on Sunday and we both really enjoyed it.

I hope this is a sign of what's to come...Justice League has the potential to be really good.

Funny. I thought it had barely any love story at all. She was all Kill Aries Kill Aries hook up for a minute then Kill Aries Kill Aries Kill Aries. Lol.

Loved it.
