First post.As a teenager I was a budding audiophile. Life got in the way, and I've made some compromises. Along the way, I also became a pretty good woodworker (mostly acoustic guitars), and recently started working towards getting better audio in my life. I started with Danny Ritchie's XLS Encores and am very impressed with them, but they are so inexpensive. Now I can't stop wondering what I can get investing in more expensive parts.Mike
I own Rhythmik usbs and a pair of XLS Encores. One upgrade (that I do not have) is the Mills/Sonicap upgrade. This should be about $150 in parts. You could get a local tech to change the caps for about $100 or so. This would be a better increase in performance than a $250 pair of speaker cables.
