Hi GE,
I had thought about this in the past, coming from a Naim Aro where it is a simple process. In reality I just can't see it being at all practicable; the problem being the damping compound. Once you remove the golf ball you are going to lessen the amount of silicone and thus change another perimeter and have to start over which as we all know is time consuming. Happily, the 'headshell' having no adjustment makes cartridge swapping swift and trouble free. Even having to adjust the arm height and rebalance is far easier than replacing the wand.
Having two carts, I use a medical syringe resting the plunger on the plinth and raising the finger-hold under the platform of my Versalex's LTD arm and mark it's position with a CD pen for each cart speeding up the arm height setting considerably; literally the cart swapping is down in two minutes.
