Check out the numerous reviews of this amp. Trafomatic makes their own transformers, so you know this has great iron. The other thing I love is that it has an adjustable output impedance switch. This allows you to optimize the amp to various headphones, which is big. Balanced and single ended inputs, 1/4" single ended headphone output. This is a single ended design, so the lack of balanced output was never a negative to me.
