Welcome.
Power aberrations are, in my experience, a localized phenomenon. In 40+ years I've tried lots of different tweaks including a power regenerator, going from switching to linear power supply, and battery power and none of them made a significant difference at home. But I've heard it (was listening in an older light industrial neighborhood before and after the nearby factories shut down for the night) and a vale of grunge lifted.
I finally got direction and courage to rip my CDs about 3 years ago and except for a "friend" who scrambled my iTunes library, it's worked well (after the initial ripping effort).
Gave up on vinyl after literally dropping my turntable 30+ years ago and never looked back as I can't stand surface noise (like fingernails on chalkboard to me). But it looks expensive these days as clean vinyl is expensive and/or a crap shoot.
The cheapest/easiest approach for sourcing is a PC and a $20/month subscription to CD quality Tidal.
