Reference 3a MM De Capo-i speakers
High efficiency, crossover-less design (just a cap to filter the tweeter from LF)
Images like a pair of Rogers LS3/5A monitors with far better low frequency extension.

This pair of De Capo-i speakers are in good condition overall with some minor "scuff marks"  that could stand to be touched up.  Sonically they're are superb, and while they will perform very well with low output tubes, they aren't shy to step up their performance capabilities with high output solid state amps.  They are bi-wire/bi-amp capable as well.  I've run them with a pair of Monarchy SM70 Pro, Class A amps and they performed very well paired with both a single amp and when used in a bi-amp configuration using 2 SM70 Pro amplifiers.

A solid 24" mass loaded set of stands with an ample top plate is what I used. (Not included in this sale)

I have the same pair in the same wood finish.  Great detailed speakers, I run them off a 4wpc Decware mini torii amp.  not Ted Nugent sound but loud enough for a small 12x20 room

Despite how efficient they are, ( I've used a little Cary Xciter to drive them with great results)  I'm currently driving them with a Audire Forte  (also for sale)  and it's as if they have active subs built in.  Something about that high current mosfet design that works them into a sonic frenzy .  They sound clean and natural with great imaging while playing effortlessly.   So Tubes or solid state amps are equally at home driving the MM Decapo i for sure.
