For your consideration is a pair of the original digital amps from our Audio Circle friend Dusty Vawter and used in my smoke, child, and pet free man cave. Design/build is solid no nonsense style typical of Channel Island Audio gear. Making changes to my system and so looking to send them on to a good home.
The D-100’s uses modified Bruno Putzeys Hypex analog switching amp UcD-180 modules with a huge (300 VA) toroid transformer to produce 100 watts into 8 ohms or 175 watts into 4 ohms.
Agon rated 7/10 only because nothing is perfect (no known damage), age, and because I’m the second owner. Have used them with stepped attenuators, a passive preamp, and a few active preamps with no issues for 10 years. Also included is 5-foot long IEC to 15-amp long power cords. These have single ended (RCA) inputs, but Dusty can convert them to balanced (XLR) if desired. I believe these are the +26 dB version, but Dusty can confirm/convert if you’d like. These are the later version (current limiting fault corrected) so it is perfectly suited for 2 ohm or 4 ohm speaker loads.
Price new: $1,600, asking $200 plus shipping from 48867 with payment via PayPal or USPS money order. Of course, they will be well packaged for shipment.
