Odyssey Kismet loudspeaker

Odyssey Kismet loudspeakers for sale. I am the original owner purchased 11/14. These speakers are in excellent condition sonically and near mint condition cosmetically. They have never been loaned out and have worked flawlessly in the 2 1/2 years I have owned them. The 20 year warranty is transferable to the 2nd owner per Odyssey website (prorated). The have the Scanspeak Beryllium tweeters that are smooth, sweet and detailed. They are full range down to a least 30 Hz according to Klaus. They are ported in the back. They have 2 cosmetic issue that keep them from being rated mint condition. One - a small 1/4 X 1/4" chip in the veneer of one speaker at the bottom. I previously had some Herbies isolation pucks glued to the BOTTOM and when I removed them it removed a thin patch of the veneer on the bottom of one speaker. Otherwise the cabinets are in excellent shape. Played in a child free, smoke free listening room.
Check my perfect feedback on Audiogon under Circleman or check with Tdangelo here at AC for a referral.
$2300. OBO. Local pick up available.

I'm not currently not in the market, but you're in Jacksonville, FL correct?  If a buyer was interested is local pick up an option?  Having just shippiped this speakers 'little' sister I know that shipping is costly.

Best of luck with the sale.

From The Absolute Sound:

Another standout (that is, stand way out) for me was the Odyssey Audio Kismet Beryllium Reference ($3,900/pair). These speakers are, in essence, monitors with integrated stands. The front baffle is the narrowest part of the cabinet, which flares out to the rear, a design that should help significantly with resonance. The speakers feature Scanspeak drivers, specifically their beryllium tweeter and a Revelator mid/bass driver, and the sound I heard was spectacular. The speakers held on to their nuance, detail, and tone even as the volume crept suspiciously close to “11”. The fact that the entire system, with cables, retailed for $6,700, was not only icing on the cake – it had “Steal Me” stamped all over it. Seriously. This was not only one the best sounding rooms, it was easily one of the best values. Winner winner, chicken dinner!

What a bargain for superb speakers. I'm surprised they haven't disappeared. Could you supply dimensions for them? I haven't been able to find them.

Dan is a long time local friend of mine and I can wholeheartedly recommend buying anything from him. I've heard these speakers many times and they sound outstanding - at the asking price they are a steal IMO.
