Conrad Johnson Classic SE preamp in excellent (really impeccable) cosmetic and working condition. I had it upgraded to the SE version by Conrad Johnson in October, 2016 at a cost of $850.00. I will include a copy of the Conrad Johnson invoice regarding the upgrade with the preamp. This is the original two tube version of the Classic preamp. The standard version (non SE) was rated Class B in Stereophile in 2012. The Classic uses a zero-feedback circuit with a single M8080 triode tube per channel followed by a FET output buffer. It includes five line-level inputs and two preamp outputs. This SE version Classic features Teflon capacitors and Vishay resistors, as found in the $20,000 Conrad Johnson GAT preamp and is a substantial upgrade in sound to the standard version. Conrad Johnson included a new box when they returned the preamp to me after they performed the SE upgrade. I will include two extra tubes, the ones that came with the preamp when I purchased it (second-hand) from Echo Audio in December, 2015; those tubes still work fine. Asking $1200.00.
