Hello AC members.

I have been visiting this site for the past few months and decided to join in on the fun.

Current system

Maggie 1.7
AVA synergy 450 amp
Oppo -105- & Placette passive preamp
Rel B3 subwoofer.
The system is in the basement with the 50" TV.

Looking into some acoustic treatments and a power conditioning  as potential upgrades to my system.

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.

Recommend Audio Circle's own GIK brand of acoustical treatments (and advice).  But we need to know what size the room is and what materials the floor, walls, and ceiling are made of first.

Regarding power conditioners...

1.)  Why do you think you need power conditioning?
2.)  Does sound quality noticeably change throughout the day and night?
3.)  Describe where do you live and what is the local utility distribution system (and major customers) is like.
4.)  Can you borrow a conditioner before purchase to make sure it would help?
