I think the RX-F10S does great for HT. DTS ES sounds great, component switching is nice, and it goes as loud as I need it to. I'm not huge on home theater, but for what I need the JVC is perfect.

The JVC is decent for surround, but not nearly as good as the Pannny or Kenwood. Its true strength lies in two channel analog performance. But as a two channel based amp with home theater as a bonus, it works pretty well.
