I have had a 3D projector for two years but only recently got the glasses for it. VUDU let's you stream 3D movies so Godzilla was like $5 so out of curiosity I went for it. I have an immersive Auro 3D home theater so am accustomed to 3D sound but combined with 3D video it was like a ride at Disneyland, OMG! The picture was just outstanding, in my space better than the movie theater in terms of sharpness while viewing in 3D. The soundtrack was a cacophony of effects from rain, planes, explosions, crowds running and screaming, etc. What a fun afternoon
My advice for anyone dabbling in Atmos, DTS-X or Auro 3D is to try it out with a 3D movie, you'll like it.
