I am planning an outboard PS for a DAC. Question : what capacitor values would filter out specific "noise" in (1) the AC line prior to the primary; (2) after the primary but before rectification and (3) after rectification but before inductor. The PSUs I've seen sport 0.005 up to 0.22 capacitors. Is there some kind of a table to this (ie. capacitor value = frequency taken out)
