Confessions of a new member

Hello.

I am currently building a stereo system with Harbeth P3esr, and Oddyssey Khartego.  I can use the pre-outs on my Cambridge 640A integrated, but I am looking forward to experimenting with preamp options.  Nothing fancy;  2 or 3 se RCA inputs, 1 RCA out, volume control.  Passive, buffered, active, TVC;  all options considered.

Sources:  Cambridge DAC Magic, Rega RP1/Cambridge 551P.  I can also rotate a Schiit Modi 2 Multibit into DAC duties (if I can wrest it from my headphone set-up).

I enjoy many types of music, especially classical, jazz, and acoustic blues.  I also enjoy singing and playing various (mostly acoustic) instruments (folk and blues).

As a Schiit owner the Saga should be an obvious choice.

Schiit Saga is on the short list. Passive with tube buffer option.  I'm guessing it will work better than the pre-outs on my Cambridge integrated.  I have the Modi MB and Vali 2 running my headphones (currently Sennheiser 650s, but I also have Grados that I power with a Little Dot).  The Schiit stuff is amazing for the price.
