I've decided to make a change and am selling my LP27a Inspire Stereo Tube Preamplifier.
Hand built in Cary North Carolina by Dennis Had

Single ended class A vacuum tube line stage with three inputs, one main output, one tape output, featuring the type 27 or 56 triode vacuum tube, a 6SN7 or 6BX7 low impedance output tube, and a NOS type 80 rectifier tube. Regulated DC, B+ voltage on the 27/ 56 tubes and output tube.

12 dB of gain with the 27 tube.
14 dB of gain with the 56 tube.

Chassis is .080 aluminum; finish is powder coat Harley black.

I ordered this from Dennis in August of last year, and shortly after asked if he could add a DACT attenuator and convert one of the pair of outputs to tape outs. He said no problem and recommended some other upgrades, which he described as very special silver output coupling caps along with a second filter choke in the regulated power supply.

Includes the stock tubes: pair of RCA 27's, pair of Philco 56's, RCA 6BX7 GT, and a RCA rectifier.

Also includes the following tubes Dennis sent me with the upgrade: a pair of Mullard NOS 27's.

The following tubes I bought are included:a pair of Sylvania NOS 27's, another pair of Sylvania 27's, a pair of Cunningham globe 27's, and three 80 rectifiers - RCA, National Union, and a very nice NOS British Tungsram. All these tubes work and sound great.

I paid $1,595 for the preamp and $400 for the upgrades.

Asking $1,275 with all these tubes. Ships in two similar sized boxes, the second for the tubes.
