Hello! I'm not the most sophisticated when it comes to understanding the inner workings and terminology relating to high end audio, but I love listening to music, and I really love listening to music when it is engaging. I was first bitten by the audio bug when I was about 16 years old, when my friend picked up a Rotel receiver and B&W speakers. Not being particularly creative, I basically copied his system and brought it to college -- which served me very well for a number of years. That was around 20 years go. My interest in music was amped up (pun intended) when I had the chance to live in Japan about 5 years ago, and I went to a number of Jazz cafes with high end audiophile setups (one cafe even had JBL paragon speakers). I'm interested in the forums to learn, as well as purchasing/selling components.
