FS: SS 8's & C7 cc

I have for sale my SS 8's in cocobolo and C7 cc in oak that Jim matched to the cocobolo.
We all know how good Jim is so you won't be disappointed in the match.
Jim's description: SoundScape 8's in cocobolo with light brown/red dye to darken them up just a bit.
I wouls say this pic is pretty close to the color. They may be just a little to the red side than what you see here.
I'm selling because I want to retire a little earlier than I was planning, darn knees.
Don't know how much bragging I can do except to say, "Best speaker I've ever had the pleasure of hearing".
I'm asking $9700.00 for all three.
Prefer local buyer (63125) or I can ship at buyers expense. Would be willing to drive say 150 miles or so to meet. I have a truck with a covered bed so no problem there.
They look the same as the day I got them.
I have all boxes and shipping material that came with them.

This picture is the one Jim took the day they shipped. I will add more pics this weekend. I tried taking some with my phone but they did not turn out very well.
The cc is currently in a glass TV stand and can't be removed because my TV is on a glass shelf above it. I'll try and get some good pictures of it.

Tried to show small mark on top here. Really hard to see. Not really a major thing.

Well did the best I could trying to show tops of both and full pic of both.
Hope this helps to show how good the grain is. Jim does fantastic work.
As we all know it can be difficult to really show the true beauty of these with pictures.

They are beautiful, if I were in the market, I'd definitely be interested. But alas, my VSTs will likely keep me satisfied for a long time to come.

Well, if you're retiring because of your knees and lack of mobility - shouldn't you keep them since you'll be doing a lot of listening? The money you save by not traveling....

My knees aren't quite that bad. I will be doing lots of fishing. Not a whole lot of mobility needed for that.
Been fishing some Northern lakes and having a blast.

Beautiful speakers, wish I had the money. I made a Turn table case out of Cocobolo for my Thorens TD-145. It does darken with age and it is a very dense and heavy wood. It is one of my favorite woods.
