I'm the first owner of this amplifier and have made no modifications. The amp is still within its twenty year warranty. It can be upgraded by Odyssey to the Plus model with bigger capacitors (for $125) but I've enjoyed it as is.
Truth be told, I've used it lightly as a growing family has diverted my attention from things sonic. It's a powerful amp, nicely detailed.
The amp is in very good cosmetic shape, but the front lights are out but can certainly be replaced for cheap. Operationally I'd say the amplifer sounds as good as day one. Interestingly, the bass performance really shines after a bit of warm up.
