UPDATE: These speakers made from solid hardwood. They developed a hairline crack across the length of the front hardwood which is purely cosmetic and hard to notice. Lou can fix the crack. There's also currently a Dueland/Mundorf caps upgrade provided by Lou for $395. According to Lou, the caps upgrade improves the sound quality of this already amazing speaker. If the buyer is interested, I can ship it directly to Lou to retouch/fix the crack and install the cap upgrade. Lou would ship the speakers directly to the buyer from his shop.

Original owner. Bought them directly from the manufacturer as V2 about 2.5 years ago. It has all the latest updates from Daedalus including the new drivers and trim rings. Comes with the outriggers. I've the original boxes.

Rated at 95 dbW/m and flat 7.5 ohms impedance, they are as comfortable with a flea watt SET amp as they are with big solid state monoblocks.

Price is firm at $SOLD. Available to pick up from NYC (11106). Add 3% if using paypal without gift option.

Open to trade with a top of the line balanced preamp.

Aaaaannnnnddddddd the price has been removed.   :banghead:

RichPark

Why would you want to help other members price their items correctly on a similar listing?  Its Top secret information.
I really doubt another speaker like this will show up though.

Brettio

Top secret since it was the lowest price EVER!

They were on audiogon at $5,699.00 (but may have started lower...hummm) and audiomart at $5,400.00, but don't tell anyone.

Sorry folks - I didn't mean to be unhelpful. I just follow the standard practice on audiocircle of removing the price when it is sold. It's no secret and you can find the classifieds from other places like Brettio have; also a simple PM works! I certainly wasn't trying to keep that a secret.  But I'd say this - given how wonderful the Daedalus speakers are, pricing them as low as mine wouldn't be a good guideline at all.

Big Red Machine

FYI, it is not a requirement to remove the selling price from the ad. Only modify the title block to add the word SOLD to it.
