Hello!
« on: 13 Mar 2017, 05:33 pm »
Hey, everybody.  Just joined up after lurking for a while.  Unfortunately for my wallet, I'm constantly tinkering with my systems and I'm currently on the lookout for new bookshelf monitors for a small room to go with my Fisher 400.  Looking forward to the advice and help that I'm sure that members will provide.  Thanks in advance!

Thanks!  The Salk forum is how I found this site.  The speakers that I'm looking to (hopefully) audition at AXPONA are:

1. Kef ls50
2. Salk silk and any other Salk speakers there.
3. Philharmonitor
4. Harbeth speakers
5. Technics sb-c700
6. Whatfedale denton
7. Joseph audio prism (if there)
8. Proac Super 10
9. ELAC
10. Diapason Micra
11. Quad S2

Look for Fritz!

He builds some of best passive monitors in the world.  Purist series crossover, top drawer drivers, heavily reinforced cabinets with custom veneers, all at very reasonable prices by a one man shop with over 40 years experience.  Check out

Hi, Hogues.

I've got a pair of Fritz LS/5-R monitors that are great for most music. If you want full bass, you'll need either a sub or floor standing speakers. Fritz's speakers are exceptional value.

Thanks.  I'm thinking about a SVS sb-1000, but I'm mostly looking used right now.
