I am the original owner of this tiny but powerful DAC.  It will do DSD up to 5.6448 mhz as well as PCM up to 24 bit 384Khz.  It has adjustable digital filters (3 for PCM and 4 for DSD), and comes with a mini disc with drivers for Windows.   It uses the ESS 9018 Dac chip and an XMOS USB asynchronous receiver chip set.  Sounds amazing, and works and looks like new.  Will come with all original packing and materials.  Current retail is $250, and I bought this one for $200 through Mass Drop.  No longer needed as I lost my bedroom system. Asking $140 plus actual shipping in CONUS.

Yes, if your CD player has either a coaxial or optical S/PDIF output.

I was using it in a second system connected to an Oppo Blu Ray player which has both coax and optical outputs, and it worked like a champ.
