Line Magnetic LM219ia failures/issues
« on: 25 Feb 2017, 01:06 am »
I am a couple of days away from spending my money on a LM219ia. But when talking to a former seller, he told me that these amplifiers have a 10% to 20% rate of technical issues. Usually some kind of component failure.
Are there any owners out there that had any problems with this amp?

No issues here and know a couple other owners who have had no issues.

There is actually a post here (probably within a year ago give or take) of someone telling a story of how good the service was when they had an issue.  Everything that has ever been made can have a problem.  What differentiates the better companies is how they take care of it.  I know about the post as at one point I was considering getting an amp (used) for my desktop system.

I've had an LM 218ia for over 4 years with no issue.  My friend has had a 219ia for well over a year with no issues. Both of us have LM 502CA DAC's as well.... all trouble free.
