Selling basically new Grado RS2e Reference Series Open-Back Headphones (S/N# 10608). These are the latest model of Reference Series 2 (RF2) and they are very similar to the RS2i but look much better with a lighter wood color. The ear cups are made from a beautiful mahogany wood. The 'e' model has new damping treatments that Grado says better control and dissipate resonances. Grado truly does shine in terms of form as these are very attractive.The RS2e utilizes 44mm drivers and an 8-conductor cable terminating to 3.5mm.
In terms of sound, these still deliver the superb Grado sound that have a signature like no other headphone. The sound is very rich and dynamic, with a real sweet spot in the middle and a smooth top end. As with most Grados, at 32 ohms, these are very easy to drive and will be easy to drive from your phone.
