Last night I went into the porter's room in my coop building to see if my drill had been delivered (it had) and much to my surprise, laying in the pile of outgoing boxes and rubage, is 40 LPs.  I quickly rummaged through them and most are in very pristine condition with a handfull still in wrapper!  Obviously not all of them are my style of music, only a few I really would want, but my wife was interested in a lot more than I was.  What I don't want I'll likely sell off cheap, but how many times does this happen to you?

cool!
My brother actually picked up a turntable from the trash on the side of the road.   He gave it to my sister and she's still using it.

I put 5 of the still sealed LPs on ebay and got $55 for them. They were country albums  . Not bad for finding them in the trash!

I went through the shed at Mum's place the other day and found about 30 78's still with the original brown covers.  All 40's jazz and swing, great stuff but nothing to play them back on!

I'll just have to invest in more stuff!!!!
