ribbon speakers? i really like the ribbon speakers i looked at in the gallery section and was wondering were i can purchase some.thanks.

I'd also check out Selah Audio's SA-1 if it is the size of speaker you are looking for.  Ribon tweeter, Vifa woof, bookshelf size, $850, sound great!

This site has phenomenal looking ribbons.  Never heard them but the design looks very sound but I am sure they cost big bucks.  Another one is called Analysis audio, which sort of look like Apogee clones.  Your best bet for relative little money is to find a pair of used Apogees in good condition.  The ribbons can now be replaced with new ones that are even better than the originals (so I have heard but not yet tried) so they are not obsolete in any way.
