I'm selecting dampening materials to line the inside of a sealed 3-way. There are so many possibilities and so many different views on dampening that I'm having a hard time pulling the trigger. Do you guys have any ideas on good materials? Deflex sounds like a neat material to line the back wall with but I have never used it nor know anyone to use it. Though I'd check here first before throwing $ down the drain.
Also there is a Deflex panel designed for sub enclosures but I was under the impression that standing waves do not present problems w/ subs, it is only the higher Hz waves that we need to worry about...is this true or would it be worth a try to throw Deflex pads inside my subs as well?

yes i have Deflex panels in my DIY speakers for 5 years
they work very well , better than any damping material i've tried
