It's got amazing reviews, and for good reason.  Very resolving, and warm amp.  I recently purchased on a whim - had never tried the First Watt offerings in home.  While it has amazing precision, holographic soundstage, and "you are there" qualities, the 14dB of gain is just barely insufficient for my needs (I'm running a DAC with passive VC output, and I'm not willing to invest in a separate preamp for the extra gain needed to fill my large room).  And my 845 SET amp is no slouch - tradeoffs between the two amps, and I can't afford to keep them both.

I'm the second owner - bought from Hum4god here on AC recently.  We consulted with Nelson Pass on warranty, and he'll service whoever the owner is, and well beyond the officially noted warranty period. 

It's still in flawless perfectly new condition, other than the hours Hum4god and I have put on it - in the 100-200 hour range - probably still in its break-in phase to be honest.

This deserves a bump, wonderful amp that I have had the pleasure of owning for nearly a year. Currently driving Devore gibbon super 8 speakers with a Manley tube preamp, it doesn't get much better (though this hobby always makes you wonder!) Good luck with the sale.
