Here is a fantastic dac based on 8 TDA-1543 dac chips connected in parallel (4 per channel). There are many threads dedicated to this dac and the Lite DAC-Ah. There is reason to believe that the circuit was designed by Vlad and then copied overseas and imported as the Dac-Ah. This one was inspected and reconditioned by Vlad Bazelkov of Audio Mirror. This one has Auricap capacitors installed by Vlad. I recently purchased this and nearly paid double the price, but I really wanted to hear this one and it is hit or miss as to when they will pop up on the used market, so I snatched the first one I could find. I will say that this dac is spooky good for the price and I would love to hang on to it, but desperately need the space it is taking up on my rack.
