Concrete tonearm pod

Looking to either build or purchase a tonearm pod for a 12" arm, and I came across this.
I wondered what opinions on this would be.

The models shown seem to me to take up a lot of real estate. If you have the platform space, no problem I guess. Nice solution for some. My turntable (Trans-Rotor) can take more than one tonearm or I might investigate this option.

I was thinking about them being concrete and having problems with ringing.
