Introduction

I'm Mike, I love music.  I am looking toward making the leap from SS to tube gear in order to become a happier music lover.  I'm looking forward to learning from the good folks in this forum, and hopefully making a once in a lifetime purchase(not including tubes for rolling, of course) of an exquisitely satisfying tube amp, or at least a preamp.  Here we go!

Nice mountains, where is this place?
What kind or tube amp do you prefer?
I would suggest keep it simple w/a Single Ended amp.

Start with a tube preamp or a Tortuga! I found happiness with both.
