Introduction

Hi, I'm John.  I live in New York but grew up in England.    I seem to be slowly migrating from British audio to American.   I currently own a couple of amps one a LFD and the other a Audio Research vsi60.     I switch back and forth,  the Audio Research is more fun but has a little mid range coloration which I can hear.

I listen to Jazz,  Rock and my daughter plays string bass.

Welcome to the sweet spot! Cool to hear about your daughter... There are a number of up-and-coming female bassists these days, Esperanza Spaulding and Kate Davis to name but two. Good for her!
