I love my 3.7. I have used BAT VK-55 mono blocks, McIntosh MC452, currently using Conrad-Johnson ET250S.
I like the Maggie's-CJ combo.
My room is small, 16x18.

I have 1.7i with a Parasound 2.1 in my 12 X 15 room with a Pinnacle sub and love the sound wouldn't mind moving up to 3.7i if a pair came up at a good price. Speakers are 24 from side wall slanted with outside conor 34 inches and inside 24 inches from back wall.
If anyone has other improved placement ideas I'd love to hear them.

They'll image better if you can pull them further out from the wall behind them. 3' is good, 5' is excellent.
