Welcome!  There are tons of VPI users here at Audio Circle, and your products are discussed often.  It will be great to have a rep here as well.

Great to have you here Mat.  Welcome mat indeed.

I've had the original Classic, the Prime, and now a used Aries 3 with a 12" 3d (from your good father's scratch and dent collection).  Loving the latter to which I am listening as I write.  I just ordered a single motor flywheel for it - actually yesterday.

For those of you who don't know, Mat is the second generation of the VPI family business.  He kicked it off by designing (what I think) is the greatest value TT of our time - the Prime.  So yeah, not a terrible start/handover.

Even though VPI is becoming big, its customer service is superb and very much still the bespoke service of a small manufacturer in every good way.

Mat - you'll like it here, some crazy smart people, yet very few troll curmudgeons who don't seem to have day jobs.  It's full of people who want to help others at every level of sophistication, experience and technical know how - with rare condescension.  I've learned about AC filtering, balanced power, room treatments, DIY of every imaginable kind, tubes, capacitors, resistors, soldering, computer and digital audio, cooking, knife buying and sharpening, music, films, and way too many other things to list here.  And I've dealt with some really great people in the process.

I think you'll fit in nicely indeed.

Glad to have you aboard Matt.  Ditto the general sentiment of the previous posts, it's a nice place to talk audio and other subjects.  And do take some thought on sponsoring a circle, most have found it well worth the small cost involved.  It's a great way to communicate with your customers and hopefully make some new customers.  Regardless, it was nice to see your post.

Hey Matt, welcome. Here is my newly acquired Scout running a Quintet Bronze. My phono pre is locked at 100 ohm, do you know what is the best setting for Bronze and JMW?

Thanks........
