Refresh my memory -- apart from speed (?) what's the advantage of having SSD in the stick?
The GS version is a traditional Flash drive and the GTX version claims to use an SSD controller. The GTX drive is quite a bit faster (both with USB 3.0 and USB 2.0) and, I suspect, does a better job with wear-levelling to preserve the long-term reliability of the storage.
Since these are (mostly) read-only, except when syncing new music, it's really the performance that matters. So, I have my 192/24 files segregated into the GTX drive.
