Original owner of this subwoofer, the Cascade 15 is one of the top tier products released by Infinity. Yet it is unusual and distinctive. First of all this is a heavy subwoofer, comes in at 98 pounds, so this is a beastie of a sub. Uses four 6 inch square downward firing woofers in a sealed cabinet. has an 800 watt amplifier, a full featured electronic crossover and the R.A.B.O.S. measurement system for set up.
I have the original box and packing, so I can ship if you are willing to pay the costs. The low profile and beautiful piano black finish make it easy to integrate into a room. The subwoofer also have input signal sensing, so it will turn on from standby when music is detected.
This is a subwoofer that is quick, detailed, with no overhang, no cabinet resonances, and plenty of grunt. Infinity specs it flat down to 35 HZ, but it feels like its deeper than that. But its so quick and detailed that it blends seamlessly with panel speakers, and small driver monitors. It is a high quality subwoofer at a price that attainable to most of us.
Sold new for $1500
Will sell for $400
While this sub may have come from the a cinema line from Infinity, there is no doubt this speaker excels at being used in a music system.
