Pretty damn trippy. A little hokey at times but in a fun way. Unexpected vintage Floyd track at a crucial moment was pretty sweet. All the Marvel starter kit movies have a B grade touch to them but i put Strange above AntMan and about par with the first Captain America and Thor. Strange has the best cast of the lot though.

I saw it in 3D at the XD.  It was awesome!  I'm a big fan of Cumberbatch and a comic book fan so I figured I'd like it.  Tilda Swinton is great (as usual) and Chewitel Edjiofore is also terrific.  Mads Mikkleson plays the villian so well so often.  Great effects!  Marvel has kept their hot streak going strong.

Can you comment on appropriateness for kids... say around 12 years old?

I'm not too anal about what my kids see but sexual issues  are a concern.

Zero sex or sex related anything.  I'd even say it's less violent than most marvel fare as well.

Watched it with my daughter at the local theater.  Loved it, and so did she.  One thing I'm realized though, is that our setup at home is better than what's at the theaters, unless we are talking about IMAX.

Yes home theater now can equal or surpass theaters except for screen size. But IMAX now has their new laser projection system that might be a game changer. Hopefully I get to find out soon just how good it is...
