My beloved VR-6s are for sale (in Hong Kong) - asking for US$8,000.
Originally purchased in late 1998 ($14,000 list), they have subsequently been upgraded to the Mk2 version by Albert with a $6,000 upgrade (making them a one-of-a-kind) in ~2006 with the following:

- brand new internal crossovers
- Scanspeak Revelator 9000 series silk dome tweeters
- Audax aerogel low/mid drivers (x2 per channel)
- SEAS premium Excel magnesium bass drivers (x2 per channel)
- Analysis Plus (hollow oval) cable - internal wiring
- rosewood cabinet (color stain)

These are awesome speakers, which I have heard numerous times here in Miami. Give them the, (well out into the room) space they deserve and they will reward you with a floor-to-ceiling, beyond wall-to-wall soundstage. At that time, the dealer was using all Threshold electronics Whoever gets these speakers can expect to go swimming in a sea of glorious sound.

Before I relegate my pair of VR-6 Mk2s to permanent storage, I would welcome comments or questions from any potential buyers or lurkers.

I haven't yet figured out how to get them shipped overseas, but I may have to do that since it seems that there is no traction from buyers here in Hong Kong.  Real estate (space) here is a premium, and two-channel audiophiles are a scarce breed...
