Pictures from Hi-Files audio show, Belgrade, Serbia

I was invited by Dayens and had great time (thank you Dejan and Zoran!). Here are some pictures from the Dayens room. Apologies for poor quality, it was quite dark and crowded... but I hope you enjoy them anyway :)

Dejan Dobrin, Dayens founder (in the left corner) was making sure that music was always on and customers' wishes were promptly served.

Custom Ampino monoblocks and Ampino preamplifier.

Menuetto and Ecstasy III on display.

The new speaker model was introduced (the one on the left). So new, it does not even have a name yet. Very impressive sound!

Zoran Dobrin, making sure future of Dayens is bright!

And my loot from the show :)

Thank you sir! Here are more pictures, from other rooms (the ones that were not too dark) - I was not taking notes of the equipment, some you will recognize and some will remain mystery, for the time being...

Great pics!
I'm curious what kind of music was played in the rooms?

I'll tell you - mostly boring. Standard audio-show selections with lot of Diana Krall and similar stuff. Could not find the photo from one of RMAF shows, huge sign on
room's door saying something like "Bring Your Own Music. Otherwise wi'll let you listen Patricia Barber and Nils Lofgren!" :D
The only exception, could say 'by standard', year after year, is man behind Dynaudio/Simaudio/Electrocompaniet/VTL etc. distribution, with his educative approach
and short stories behind or better say before each track to be heard. The other exception was in the room of new name on our local audio scene, 'Acoustic Invader'
with choice of music we (or you) listen every day, and almost nothing of 'audiophile-spec-hyper-produced-demo-and-shows-only'.

Boris, indeed nice photo selection, thank you.

Here's a brief listing of (some of) the gear shown on Boris photo's:

01. Focal + Naim electronics
02. Focal, Tannoy, Denon, Naim electronics
03. -||-
04. Burmester + JBL Synthesis + Mark Levinson + Avid Diva TT
05. McIntosh system (this year with smaller spkrs)
06. ATC + Nuprime + Aurender + Cantata + REL + PSI Audio AVAA
07. Harbeth + Lumin
08. Lavardin + Rega TT
09. Headphones, amps, var.
10. Sony 4K huge TV
11. Technics all new line, incl TT SL 1200G
12. Musical Fidelity, Bryston, Sonus Faber
13. Sonus Faber
14.
15. Dynaudio Contour + Simaudio Moon
16. Manger + Raidho + Ansuz + Lindemann +
17. Singidunum Audio horns w/ TAD drivers + Miraudio electronics & spkr (Boenicke-like) + SM Audio Design TT

Not shown MBL system (sold first day), Wilson Benesch etc.

You are way too kind to praise the pictures... if they were two classes better, they would be mediocre, but I still appreciate the encouragement  :thumb:

nik.d - thanks for the comprehensive equipment list!

Thanks for the pics and show coverage... Not nearly as cool as your "custom made" thread though.  :inlove: I keep meaning to add my feeble projects to it but they do not even come close to what you have been posting.  :notworthy: Keep that thread going man.

Hey Dieter,

Thanks for "visiting"!  :D

I am sure that I am not the only one who would like to see your creations. Every custom, customized or DIY project is most welcome to that  thread! No worries if the aesthetics is not top-notch: I am certainly not the one to judge that - just check what I posted in the thread about my first amplifier  :o

Thanks,
Boris

Always nice to see something you own being featured at a show.
