I like to call this the Coincident muscle amp! These DHT designed mono blocks are a stout 75 wpc and can easily drive most speakers. These are highly transparent and linear amps. I liked these better than my previous amp, the Pass Labs XA30.5. I'm selling the Dragons because I recently bought more efficient speakers and want to use an SET amp to drive them. I've had these Dragons for 3 years. I am the second owner. The original owner had them for approx 1 year before me.
This sale includes two sets of tubes- the original stock set and the upgraded tubes which are a significant improvement over the stock ones. The upgraded tubes are: Psvane 300B's, Psvane 211's, and vintage Sylvania 6EM7's.
I have all the original packaging and boxes to ship the amp. I will ship the tubes in an extra third box so that everything arrives safely.
The previous owner had a repair done on one of the mono blocks. He said he left the unit on by accident and blew out a transformer which was repaired by the designer, Mr. Blume. There was a second repair more recently which consisted of replacing a cap and the rectifier bridge. The amps now have a clean bill of health. There are no scratches or dents and the front face looks great. There are a couple very small blemishes in the chrome that didn't rub out. It looks like an 8/10 to me but I'll rate it a 7/10 just to be on the safe side and to acknowledge the repairs.
