Hi Everyone,

Resurrecting my old college system and found this site doing research on the Van Alstine external power mod for my Harman Kardon T-60 and interested in learning more if any of you have attempted it. 

System components:  HK T-60 (Shure V15 V, Ortofon 10, Denon 103R), DBX route selector an encoder, Denon CD, HK CD301, HK PM655Vxi, Teac X-1000R, Polk RTA 12 and Monitor 2's, Koss ESP 9's, HVL 1c's and AKG 340's.

Hi Mike, that’s a beautiful system you got there, brings back a lot of memories for me.
I did own that Harman Kardon CD301 for a time and a Teac reel to reel. I remember
your HK turntable and Polk speakers on display at some of the local audio shops when
I lived in NY.. ah, the good old days..

Welcome to the sweet spot and thanks for the photo. Nice tape deck BTW.

Just recently rlee8394 mentioned having one of the externalized power supply boxes laying around if anybody wanted it. I had an HK T-25 with the modded power supply but it wasn't DIY, it was storebought from AVA. Used it with their Longhorn Grado.

Thanks everyone, Wayne just checked out your external power mod and very nice with the visuals, that's what I needed.  Having a problem getting sound out of the turntable at the moment, but sure it's just something simple I'm overlooking.  Having fun in the meantime.
