New from Toronto
« on: 14 Oct 2016, 12:21 am »
Hi guys, just purchased a house and it came with a complete set of sound system.  Not sure if I'm keeping them at this time.

Hopefully you guys can give me some advice.  Are they any good? And what's their worth?

Here's what I got:
- Rotel RDA-985 DTS surround decoder
- Rotel RDA- 975 Digital Surround Adapter
- Rotel RSP-980 Surround Sound Processor
- Rotel RB-985 Five channel power amplifier

Speakers
- Center: B&W CC6
- LR: B&W CDM1
- Rear LR: B&W DS6

Sub: Velodyne FSR12BV

Thanks for your help!

That's interesting that the previous owner left their sound system as such behind. Did they leave the country? Anyhow, that gear ain't too shabby so if you weren't into audio before, this could be the beginning of something new and hopefully very fulfilling for you.  :thumb:

Welcome to AC!

I am about 40 KM west in Burlington.

The gear listed should deliver a fun surround setup for sure. Enjoy!
