I am reluctantly parting with my upgraded Carver 1.0 MK II with opt 002 and the Fulcrum bias pivot upgrade.
I will regret this but in the interest of keeping the peace at home and not turning the house into a stereo store I have to liquidate some equipment.
This amp was professionally upgraded by Wayne Foster and the workmanship is impeccable.

BTW, this unit was NEVER an EBay trash bin buy. I have owned this unit since new!
You can be put on the waiting list and wait a year or so to get your amp upgraded or you an buy this known to be perfectly functioning and professionally upgraded AND save yourself some serious cash. The only downside are some scratches on the faceplate. I had a hard time photographing them to be visible - the light has to be reflecting off the faceplate just so otherwise they do not show up - see the photos. Everything else about this unit is pristine.

If you look on the MK II website, they claim 450 watts into 8 ohms at clipping. Mine puts out 500 watts!
The sound is amazing and it drives my Gunned Maggie 1.6r's with ease and grace.
Service manual is included but its usefulness is limited due to the upgrade.
The MK II guarantee is still in place - "As long as I'm alive I will repair any M-1.0t Mk II sold for cost of parts plus shipping." - see the MK II website.
I will also include the original manual (not a copy!) and will also include the MK II documentation provided by Richard/Wayne.

I do not have the original box but will pack in the same box that safely transported it to Wayne for the upgrade and its return. In fact, Wayne complimented me on my packing! Bomb-proof!
Thanks for looking!

  • The poodle bites, the poodle chews it.
I was the first paying customer for these when Rich P. was doing the work way back when.  Rich P. is the fellow who came up with the modifications.
You'll have no shortage of power with these or any reliability problems, either.

Thanks for the comment. Yes it can easily drive difficult loads and just as importantly, it sounds great doing it.
