When I first plugged her in, she was cold from sitting on the front porch (55 F). She sounded good then, but definately sounds better after 24 hours on the plug. I am convinced that the new HT-3 sounds better than the older Stereo. I look forward to having the Stereo upgraded from a plus to an extreme.
I am really surprised by how much warmer the HT-3 runs that the stereo. Where the stereo was barely above room temp, the HT-3 is down right warm to the touch. Klaus told me this would be the case, but I am still amazed. Now I understand why my 5 channel AV Receiver runs so darn hot.
I hope to soon do some tests with the center channel hooked up to the new HT-3. This will help me decide to go with a real center, or a phantom. If phantom, then I need to rethink my amp strategy. Might go with a pair of monoblocks. Damn, I am getting as nuts as the rest of you guys!
